Role: Locum Respiratory Physiologist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Chertsey Start Date: 20/09/2024 Duration: 3 months Hours: Full-time Rate: £28 - £35 per hour About the role: The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Chertsey. This is a full-time position starting on 20th September 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £28 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs. Duties and Responsibilities: You will conduct respiratory function tests and assessments, analyze and interpret test results, and provide accurate and timely reports. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintain up-to-date patient records, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: * Essential: * Clinical PFT/LFT experience. * Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist. * Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS. * Desirable: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
