Acute Occupational Therapist - Sussex

BAND 6 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – ACUTE INPATIENT SERVICES Location: Sussex Contract: Temporary Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Sussex. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery and ensuring safe, timely discharges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment. * Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions. * Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. * Promote independence and functional recovery for patients. REQUIREMENTS: * HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. * Proven experience in acute inpatient care. * Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
