Description Student & Seasonal Opportunity Williams Lake, British Columbia July – August 2026 About Perimeter Solutions Perimeter Solutions is a global leader in wildfire suppression products and services. Every wildfire season, our teams support aerial firefighting operations across British Columbia by supplying and loading fire retardant used by airtankers protecting communities and natural resources. We're seeking motivated students and seasonal employees to join our team at the Williams Lake Airtanker Base for the summer wildfire season. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced aviation environment, gain valuable experience, and contribute directly to wildfire response efforts in British Columbia. No previous experience is required — full training will be provided. What You'll Do As an Air Tanker Loader Technician, you'll help support airtanker operations during wildfire activity by: Mixing and loading wildfire retardant into airtankers Operating pumps, hoses, valves, and loading equipment Assisting with equipment inspections and minor maintenance Monitoring retardant and water storage systems Supporting daily tanker base operations Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assisting with facility and grounds maintenance when aircraft operations are not active Working alongside aviation crews, BC Wildfire personnel, and other wildfire response partners No two days are the same. During periods of wildfire activity, you'll be part of a team helping airtankers launch quickly and safely to support wildfire suppression efforts across the province.
