The Role: The Corporate Events Coordinator (12 - Month Contract) plays a key role within the Marketing Operations team at PBS. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player—someone who is proactive, resourceful, and ready to take initiative. In this role, you’ll contribute creatively and strategically to deliver exceptional, memorable experiences for our customers, community, and employees. From coordinating conventions and workshops, you’ll be at the heart of bringing our brand to life through events. Job Responsibilities: Assist with engagement and promotion for events with stakeholders Assist with planning and executing internal and external events, including (but not limited to) PBS Conference, Regional Workshops, Dealer Conference, Length of Service, Masters of Certified Professionals, Stampede, Christmas events Support end-to-end event logistics, management of event documentation, vendor coordination, flight bookings, onsite event support, and post-event reporting Assist with event budgeting tasks (quotes, expense tracking) and ensure costs align with approved budgets Assist with post-event tasks including collecting invoices, reconciling expenses, gathering feedback, compiling results/analytics, and documenting improvement opportunities for future events Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event requirements Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments simultaneously meet deadlines Provide on-site support during events, including vendor coordination, schedule management, issue resolution, and maintaining professional attendee experience Identify opportunities for improvement of the event planning process including needs assessment, development, and implementation Qualifications: Post-secondary education, degree or diploma 2-3 years of experience in event planning in hospitality Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Demonstrates a strong ability to build rapport and business relationships Ability to adhere to tight timelines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate capacity for accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task What we offer: Professional Development – Continuous training, industry certifications, and clear pathways for career advancement Comprehensive health benefits - Medical and dental coverage to support your well-being Paid Time Off – PTO to help you recharge and maintain work-life balance Inclusive culture - A collaborative, supportive team environment where your ideas and voice truly matter Employee recognition - Regular appreciation programs and performance-based incentives Competitive compensation package Competitive annual base salary Attractive employee referral bonuses Staff discounts – Exclusive savings with partners such as GM, Dell, and more Should you be selected for an interview, you will be contacted via email. What you’ll do

Coordinate and execute internal and external corporate events, including conferences and workshops, from planning through to post-event reporting. Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, budgeting, and on-site support to ensure a professional attendee experience.

Requirements

Requires a post-secondary degree or diploma and 2-3 years of event planning experience in hospitality. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
