Parkland School Division (PSD), with our central office located in Stony Plain, AB serves as the public-school authority for approximately 92,000 residents and approximately 12,500 students, across a mix of urban and rural communities. Our learning community includes 23 schools in both Treaty No. 6 and Treaty No. 8 territory, serving the communities of Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, Fort Chipewyan, Paul First Nation, Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, Mikisew Cree First Nation, and Fort Chipewyan Métis. Enrolment growth necessitates additional learning space, and we are excited for the capacity opportunity that the newly constructed Westview School, in Stony Plain, will provide to our students and families. The teacher is responsible for creating and delivering French as a Second Language programming for grades 4-6 while supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. Key duties include implementing Individual Program Plans, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and parents.
