JUNIOR EVENTS ASSISTANT (TECHNOLOGY HUB) TEMPORARY TORONTO Do you have exceptional client service skills and love people? Do you want to build a great network and make genuine connections? They are looking to add an Events Assistant to the team on a temporary basis to support the team. You will be supporting the company with events at two locations (as necessary) to ensure services are delivered accurately and on time. In addition to this, your typical day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing end-to-end event venue planning, from client intake through to event day support Assisting with the setup and teardown of internal meetings, including preparing food and beverage service for guests Handling administrative tasks like managing our event rental delivery schedule, maintaining our supply inventory and keeping our space clean and organized Leading site visits with prospective clients Covering reception desk duties such as greeting clients and answering the phone Assisting with event sales inquiries Responding to phone, email and in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner Maintaining internal resources to ensure correct and updated information Assisting in creating and hosting quality activities (like holidays or socials) Being knowledgeable in safety regulations and participating in training Other ad-hoc tasks, as necessary What you bring to the job You are someone who can get the tasks done and are great at working with different types of teams. Post-secondary education or relevant experience 2+ Years of experience in administration and front-desk services Excellent customer service skills Great communication skills, both verbal and written Keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Welcoming and personable personality Experience with executing/planning/managing events is an asset Qualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Shannan Willoughby.
