Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, organized approach Role Overview -Program and project management delivery; ideal candidate is an adaptable self-starter able to identify and prioritize project tasks and drive next steps while ensuring project goals are met in a timely fashion -Role is delivering cross-functional projects in Capital Markets and Trading and related Front Office functions -The role will be supporting the lead Program Management team charged with ensuring the timely delivery and cross-functional execution of Capital Markets projects and drive the assigned work to completion. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate project management experience and impact beyond Technology or Operations. -Trading, market risk, credit risk, XVA, liquidity, collateral exposure helpful Primary Responsibilities -Support the Markets Transformation Initiative lead(s) to drive execution of regulatory and business deliverables -Support PM-related tasks for working groups, workshops and other ad hoc sessions with senior business stakeholders (Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, Technology, etc) -Coordinate with stakeholders at various levels to track deliverable progress, ensure actions are moving forward, and clearly report statuses and next steps -Strong documentation and organizational skills including meeting minutes, action logs, trackers, logs, etc. to ensure clarity across stakeholders and the maintenance of a project audit trail -Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with multiple Technology teams and Business stakeholders. -Gather business requirements, draft relevant project documentation (BRDs, process flows, project plans, etc.) with business and technology partners as appropriate -Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level -Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability including analysis of large data sets to identify patterns, issues, conclusions, etc. Skills Required -Demonstrated track record of project management experience whether at the workstream, project, or program level in major/complex institutions (Tier 1 banks or Big 4 consulting firms) -Strong knowledge of Capital Markets structures, products, technology, and environments -Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle across products and asset classes -Strong knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle, both waterfall and agile -Excellent oral and written communications skills -Slide creation and presentation, spreadsheet, and data analysis skills -Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability -5+ years of relevant industry experience -Experience working with Front Office / Trading / Sales teams -Strong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirements Other Preferred Criteria -Not looking for market risk or operations managers -Data analytics/SQL a plus -Bachelor’s/University degree minimum; STEM and/or Advanced/Master’s degree a plus -Project Management certifications, e.g. PMP or equivalent a plus -Consulting experience a plus
