​COMPETITION NUMBER: 1814CLOSING DATE: August 31, 2026 @ 11:59 PM MDT FACULTY OF HEALTH STUDIES Reporting to the Program Chair, or designate, an instructor carries out a range of activities that fall under a variety of categories: Course preparation, Course delivery, Supporting student success, Curriculum work, Professionalism, Professional Development, and College Service. Instructors are responsible for delivering high quality instruction in the courses that they have been assigned, fostering a positive learning environment, contributing to the academic success of students and a collaborative teaching team. Instructors are expected to demonstrate NorQuest’s Qs in their daily work. Instructors may be required to teach during the day, evening or weekend depending on the teaching assignment. Delivery of content may per in-person, online or Hy-flex. Instructors may be required to provide lab, theory and clinical coverage as required to meet operational needs. Location: Castor, Alberta NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re looking for a term Instructor to join our Mobile Lab located in Castor, Alberta. This is a 0.7 FTE term role ending in April 2027. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Prepare assigned courses by updating course outlines, personalizing LMS course shells, and reviewing instructional materials, activities, and resources to ensure learning objectives are met. Plan, develop, and deliver instruction in theory, lab, and clinical settings, including skill demonstrations, supervision of skill practice, and competency assessment. Adapt teaching methods, learning activities, and instructional materials to meet student needs and support student engagement and success. Support student learning by ensuring the development of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for safe practice, while providing mentorship, supervision, and constructive feedback. Maintain a supportive learning environment that fosters equity, diversity, inclusion, and student success, and provide formative and summative assessment in accordance with college and program policies. Maintain accurate student records, educational plans, grades, progress reports, and Learning Improvement Plans in compliance with college procedures and program requirements. Collaborate in curriculum delivery, course and program review activities, and the continuous improvement of provincially mandated curriculum in alignment with learning objectives and accreditation standards. Demonstrate professionalism through adherence to college, program, health and safety policies, ongoing professional development, maintenance of required certifications, and participation in committees, projects, and other service activities that support the program and college. WHAT YOU BRING Designation as an RN (with active registration with CRNA) or LPN (with active registration with CLPNA) with no conditions in Alberta is required. Experience in Canada within the last three years required. A bachelor’s degree in nursing or a health-related field is preferred. If your education was obtained internationally, we recommend that you obtain an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or another nationally designated organization. 3 years of full-time experience in clinical nursing is preferred. 1 year of minimum adult teaching experience required OR completion of a bachelor’s degree in education OR completion of an adult teaching/learning program. Requirements

Candidates must hold an active RN or LPN registration in Alberta with at least three years of clinical experience. Additionally, a minimum of one year of adult teaching experience or a relevant degree in education is required.
