You’ll be part of a team that values dignity, choice, and inclusion. Non-Negotiable Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must: Have a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle with and minimum $2,000,000 liability insurance by the time of hire. Be comfortable swimming or willing to enter a pool using a life jacket to support individuals during aquatic activities. Be comfortable working around pets/animals, including dogs and cats, in home and community settings. Key Responsibilities Support individuals in daily living, recreation, employment, and community participation. Implement and monitor individualized service plans. Respond to behavioral and emotional needs using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with agency policies and provincial regulations. Collaborate with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams. What You Bring A diploma or degree in Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. (equivalencies will be considered, programs completed internationally may require a WES or IQAS assessment) Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred). Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Current First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification, APRP, Medication Administration, PBS, Food Safety and others related to Human Services(or willingness to obtain). Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector screening (or willingness to obtain). Intermediate computer skills. Why Work With Us? What you’ll do

Support individuals with disabilities in daily living, recreation, and community participation while implementing individualized service plans. Respond to behavioral needs using trauma-informed approaches and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Requires a diploma or degree in Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, along with a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle. Candidates must be comfortable with aquatic activities and working around pets.
