Job summary
Job Description The Curriculum and Resource Development Instructional Designer is going to closely support the Islamic Studies curriculum development process in consultation with the Project Committee while ensuring an effective implementation of standard project management processes. We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual that will assist in developing high-quality, engaging, well researched Islamic Studies Curricula resources. The candidate is also expected to work closely with Curriculum Developers and the Project Manager to ensure unity of production and meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will be tasked to do the following: * Assist in designing and developing comprehensive curriculum resources that adheres to Islamic principals, educational standards, and pedagogical best practices; * Supporting the alignment of curriculum content with MAC’s goals, standards, and frameworks; * Conduct comprehensive research on assigned topics using credible sources, databases, and other academic or professional resources; * Integrate knowledge, practice, and traditions of Islamic theology and the curriculum expectations into the respective resources; * Create age-appropriate, relevant, and engaging resources, activities, and assessments for various educational levels; * Assist in developing instructional materials including workbooks, multimedia resources, online content, and supplementary materials that support effective teaching of Islamic Studies teachings; * Track and monitor the project timeline based on required phases; * Facilitate meetings with the project advisors to gather feedback, suggestions, and recommendations; * Contributes to reporting as per project team requirements. Qualifications * A degree in Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies, Education, or a related field; * Familiarity with Ontario curriculum; * Education or work experience in curriculum development or curriculum design is an asset; * Creativity, content creation experience, writing experience, and story crafting experience is an asset; * Ability to work within a team, with integrity, enthusiasm, initiative and confidence; * Excellent communication skills in English; * Ability to read and write Arabic is an asset; * Work experience in an Islamic School is considered an asset.

Requirements
A degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field is required, with familiarity with the Ontario curriculum. Experience in curriculum design, content creation, and proficiency in English are essential, while Arabic skills and Islamic school experience are assets.
