The role supports environmental monitoring programs for wastewater discharges, including sample collection and the analysis of chemical and toxicological data. It involves overseeing private contractors and ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to the Liquid Waste Management Plan.

Permitting & Enforcement Officer

Ensures compliance with air quality, liquid waste, and emission regulations through site inspections and data analysis. Drafts permits, investigates pollution complaints, and enforces legislative compliance through notices of violation and evidence gathering.

Laboratory Technician - WWTP Process Laboratory

Conduct routine chemical and physical analyses of wastewater, sludge, air, and soil samples to support treatment operations. Responsibilities include operating analytical instruments, performing field sampling, and communicating results to plant staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
