Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings and premises, apartments for signs of pests, applying treatments to eliminate pests in the assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Inspect buildings and outside areas to identify infestation source * Inspect infested area and determine type of treatment required * Assist to prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas using mechanical or electric tools * Fumigate apartments * Place and set traps; and install other animal control barriers as required * Check suites to confirm if they are prepared for pest treatment; and physically prepare suites if they are not prepared * Clean out areas that harbour pests * Advise managers and tenants on how to prevent pest infestation. * Post required notices for pest control treatment * Assist pest control team in moving furniture, etc. * Ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company's policy, prepare and submit reports * Other related duties as assigned by Regional Manager Qualifications and Requirements * Must possess provincial pesticide applicator license * Valid First Aid and CPR certificate will be an asset * Prior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment will be an asset * Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle * Must successfully complete a security clearance * Physically fit How to Apply Submit your resume online.
