EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Casual Housekeeper and Dining Room Server, On-Call M’akola Housing Society Langford, BC – Jesken Aerie Position Summary Under the direction of the Assisted Living Manager (ALM), the Casual On-Call employee will cross train and support multiple departments across the Assisted Living Facility and ensures residents are provided with a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment, and is responsible for a wide range of tasks depending on the department they are supporting during their shift. The casual, on-call shifts are as follows: Dining Room Server - $25.82 per hour 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Housekeeper - $25.82 per hour 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent1-2 years of experience working in hospitality preferably in a congregate/assisted living setting Courses required and paid for by M’akola: First Aid Level 1 Certificate WHMIS Certificate Food Safe Level 1 Certificate Occupational Level 1 Experience working in and with the Indigenous communities and Indigenous people is an asset Courses or training in customer service, office systems and procedures Other Follow M’akola Housing Society and Assisted Living policies and procedures Provide a clear criminal record check To view the full job description and the list of responsibilities click here.
