Reporting to the School Administrators, the Elementary School Secretary manages the operations of the office by performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties as well as other related tasks assigned by the Administration team. The Elementary School Secretary will provide essential support to the school, students and parents, ensuring that integrity of information is maintained and the office operates efficiently. Requirements Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with board-specific software such as Aspen, SparkRock, Smartfind, and School Cash is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and proficient keyboarding skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all levels within the school and Board.
