Available Work Terms: (4-months and 8-month placements -see application for details). This position will be on site in Tiverton, Ontario. Key Responsibilities: Use of Geomatics technology (GIS, GPS and remote sensing) to manage GIS databases and processes that support asset management and capital planning. Maintain and update maps and GIS applications Expand catalogue of solutions through ESRI apps Assist in integration of the GIS with other software vendors Field work (data collection and surveying) Other duties as required Skills and Knowledge: Advanced use of the ESRI ArcGIS software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Public speaking skills Strong organizational and planning abilities Strong computer skills Good analytical skills Demonstrates strong learning agility Knowledge of spatial analysis, metadata and principles of relational databases Dependable and self-motivated Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team A strong understanding of safety in the workplace Comfortable working in the field (surveying and data collection) We seek students that: Are eligible and available for a (4-month or 8-month) work term placement beginning September 2026 Solid academic performance with a G.P.A. equivalent to 3.0 or higher Current post-secondary studies in one of the following programs and will return to school upon completion of their work term: Specialization in GIS/Geomatics Why should you consider a co-op term at Bruce Power?
