Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Internship: Motor Control Centre (MCC) - 8 month - Airdrie, AB, Canada.
The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $25 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The successful candidate will assist the Marketing office with any / all engineering functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical / product support, design & drafting, and order management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting – quotations, 3D design using Inventor.
- Assist with drafting – schematic diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Assist our design department with projects / single line and specification review.
- Assist our New Product Development process.
- Assist Eaton’s channel partners with product information, project RFQ’s, order support and day to day electrical inquiries.
- Supply support to our internal and external customers on all technical inquiries.
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program or its equivalent.
- Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
- 3D design using Inventor or Revit experience is considered an asset.
- Previous Electrical or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
