The role requires strong PLM expertise, stakeholder leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Capability Development Define and evolve the PLM capability roadmap aligned with business strategies and Digital Thread initiatives. Assess new PLM capabilities, identify value opportunities, and lead prioritization of enhancements. Develop and maintain PLM capability maturity models and drive continuous improvement across functions. Act as the primary point of contact for all PLM-related initiatives.

Functional & Technical Expertise Serve as the subject matter expert on PLM data models, workflows, integrations, configuration options, and best practices. Evaluate system impacts, risks, and interdependencies across enterprise technology landscapes (ERP, CAD, MES, MRP, etc.). Support integrations with CATIA, NX, and SolidWorks, ensuring seamless CAD–PLM connectivity.

Business Process Ownership Lead the definition and documentation of current (“as-is”) and future-state PLM-enabled business processes. Ensure processes are scalable, standardized, and aligned with cross-functional requirements. Translate business needs into structured use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Alignment Engage Engineering, Services, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT leadership to ensure clarity of needs and alignment of priorities. Facilitate workshops, governance sessions, and collaborative design activities with senior stakeholders. Influence decision-making across a matrix organization and manage cross-functional expectations.

Change Management & Adoption Drive organizational readiness for new PLM capabilities through communication, training, and adoption strategies. Address resistance, clarify roles and responsibilities, and reinforce governance where necessary.

Execution & Delivery Support Partner with project managers, IT teams, process owners, and business SMEs to support implementation activities, testing cycles, and rollout. Oversee issue resolution, risk mitigation, and dependency management within the PLM domain. Ensure deliverables meet business expectations and support end-to-end lifecycle management capability.
