About the role

What you will do:

The Administrative Intern is responsible for supporting the Distribution and Marketing team with general department administration tasks along with project work as assigned.

This is a 3-month contract opportunity. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Department Administration

Provide administrative support to team members. Support invoice coding for all payables on a weekly basis. Document archiving. Respond to all incoming distribution inquiries and refer to appropriate team members. Meeting invitation and scheduling management.

Sales and Marketing Support

Support the daily entry of box office reports. Communicate with theatre owners to retrieve any late or missing box office reports. Support film rental invoicing to Cineplex Pictures’ customers. Help maintain internal records of all provincial ratings, certificate counts and applicable charges. Support the updating of a weekly theatrical trailer placement summary in conjunction with the Head of Distribution and Senior Department Coordinator. Assist in creating marketing and sales decks. Manage the online digital marketing asset locker with supervision. External shipping of physical marketing and promotional materials.

What You Will Need:

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Business Administration, Marketing, Film or Communications program within a post-secondary institution. Proven critical thinking skills to work through relatively complex strategic problems. Strong relationship management skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Exceptional oral and written communication, with meticulous attention to detail when writing, editing and/or building out documents for various audiences Quick learner with strong project management, time management and organizational skills
