Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 Temporary Replacement Teaching position
• Instructing as a Grade 6 generalist teacher
• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in Division 2 (Grades 4-6)would be considered an asset
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
• Background in Literacy and Numeracy intervention would be considered an asset
• Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
• Assessment literate
• Ability to work in a collaborative teaching and learning environment
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team-orientated learning environment and be a positive team member
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
• Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
