Position Overview We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air & Ocean Coordinator to support our transportation and logistics operations on a temporary basis. This role serves as a critical link between Air, Ocean, and Ground operations, ensuring the smooth coordination of import and export shipments while maintaining high service levels and on-time delivery performance. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments, including Dispatch, Linehaul, Billing, and Pricing, to ensure efficient shipment execution and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination & Operations Coordinate and manage import and export shipments across air and ocean freight channels. Act as the primary point of contact between Air, Ocean, and Ground Operations teams. Collaborate with Dispatch, Linehaul, Billing, and Pricing teams to ensure seamless shipment movement. Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery schedules.

Delivery & Service Management Ensure all deliveries are dispatched by 8:00 AM daily and escalate any service delays. Monitor and manage out-for-delivery (OFD) shipments. Prioritize urgent, time-sensitive, and high-profile shipments. Support the coordination of FIFA and other specialized shipments.

Shipment Tracking & Documentation Track air and ocean shipments from origin to final delivery. Monitor container movements and shipment milestones. Follow up on customs releases and shipment clearance requirements. Validate and maintain Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation for both air and ocean shipments.

Communication & Reporting Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. Assist with customer quotations and rate requests as required. Track and report shipment exceptions, including: Rejected shipments Non-OFD shipments Missing PODs Provide operational updates and status reports when required.

Time-Sensitive Operational Tasks Coordinate daily Ground Connect cut-off activities by 3:45 PM. Ensure airline pickups are completed by 4:00 PM. Support FIFA shipment processing and related billing activities. Assist with container billing and shipment-related invoicing.

Daily Priorities Ensure all deliveries are dispatched by 8:00 AM. Monitor and respond to operational emails and communications. Track and manage OFD shipments. Support customer quotation requests. Coordinate and monitor FIFA shipments. Follow up on missing PODs and shipment exceptions.

Qualifications Previous experience in freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations. Strong understanding of air, ocean, and ground freight processes. Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs requirements. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipment tracking systems. High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Duration: Temporary assignment (duration based on business and operational requirements).
