About the role
Position: Clinician (Oncology / Hematology)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $160 - $200/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
Author and review evaluation tasks requiring nuanced clinical judgment in oncology and hematology. Assess clinical defensibility of efficacy and safety conclusions, ensuring true clinical significance. Apply advanced judgment to dose escalation, toxicity, and adverse event grading. Evaluate benefit-risk reasoning and scrutinize management strategies. Identify and flag clinically implausible content, distinguishing from legitimate variation. Provide structured, guideline-based written rationales for non-clinical audiences.
Requirements
Specialist registration or board certification in medical oncology and/or hematology with strong relevant experience. Direct involvement in clinical trials as investigator, sub-investigator, or sponsor-side medical monitor. Proficiency with CTCAE grading, relevant response criteria, and outcome endpoints. Hands-on experience with trial documents such as protocols and safety narratives. Demonstrated excellence in written communication tailored for non-clinical readers. Previous roles in medical monitoring or as medical director on oncology or hematology programs.
