You’ve always been said to be an unsurpassed observer. In fact, you are the champion in the Where’s Waldo game? Attentive to details, you make sure operations are completed and orders are correct. You are not afraid of physical labour and are able to lift and move loads weighing 20 kilos. Being an order verifier is like a 3D version of Hidden Objects, but warehouse and decorations edition. Our client is a family business founded nearly 50 years ago in Montreal. They are guided by their success throughout Canada’s major cities. Their distinguished taste sets them apart in the field of furniture and contemporary interior decoration. To continue to support them in their meteoric expansion, they are looking for order verifiers who aim to respect occupational health and safety at all times.

Main tasks:

-       Ensure the goods arrived in good condition. 

-       Move supplies with a manual pallet truck.

-       Use a scanner and a computer.

-       Ensure that the pallet of the order has arrived at the right loading zone. 

-       Confirm the reference and the colour of the merchandise corresponds with the customers’ needs.

-       Ensure that the standards for packaging quality and the replacement of damaged products are followed. 

-       Carry out a quality control.

-       Perform handling tasks, when needed.

-       Carry out any other tasks related to the job while obeying the safety instructions.

Requirements:

-       Ability to provide physical effort.

-       Ability to use a manual pallet truck to move orders.

-       Being able to follow the shipment team leader’s recommendations.

-       Fast learner and worker.

-       Able to lift and move loads that can weigh up to 25 kilos.

Salary: $19 to $21 per hour.

Schedule: Day and evening shift.

Status: Stable / long term.
