About the role
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.
This is a posting for an 18-month contract position.
The Project Manager supports strategic initiatives across Compass Canada sectors by leading cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and closeout. This role is responsible for driving project delivery, stakeholder alignment, governance, communications, risk management, and operational readiness to ensure successful business outcomes.
Working within the PMO, the Project Manager partners with leaders across multiple functions and sectors to deliver initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, support transformation, and advance organizational priorities.

Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives across Compass Canada sectors, ensuring alignment to business objectives, timelines, scope, and budget. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, governance materials, status reporting, risk logs, communications, and related project documentation. Establish strong relationships with business leaders, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery. Facilitate project governance through regular stakeholder meetings, progress reporting, issue resolution, and executive updates. Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, and external partners to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved. Identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities proactively, developing mitigation and contingency plans where required. Support organizational change by promoting stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption throughout the project lifecycle. Champion PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and delivery outcomes. Conduct site visits and operational assessments as required to support project execution and implementation activities. Contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the PMO and broader organization.

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. PMP certification or equivalent project management designation. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience leading enterprise-level projects and/or programs in complex, cross-functional environments. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, evolving business environments. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience leading projects involving operational change, transformation, process improvement, or technology implementation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations. Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery frameworks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project. Experience working with collaboration and project management tools is considered an asset. Ability to travel occasionally as required.
