Job Title: SoC Validation Engineer – Pre-Silicon & Post-Silicon Location: Remote (PST Hours) Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SoC Validation Engineer with expertise in both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. The ideal candidate will validate complex SoC IPs including Clock, Reset, Ethernet, and various I/O interfaces while working closely with RTL, firmware, and hardware teams to ensure first-silicon success. Responsibilities Develop SoC validation plans and test strategies. Validate Clock, Reset, Ethernet, GPIO, SPI, UART, I2C, and JTAG IPs. Perform CDC, reset sequencing, and power-on reset validation. Execute validation on simulation, FPGA, and emulation platforms. Bring up silicon and perform post-silicon debugging. Develop automation scripts using Python, Perl, or Tcl. Debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools. Work with design, firmware, BSP, and platform teams.
