About the role

Leadership in Logistics Program

Are you interested in starting a career in warehouse and distribution? We are looking to directly refer eligible clients to the Leadership in Logistics Program, a program initiative built to support local job-skills development and facilitate immediate employment opportunities post-program.

Program Eligibility

To be eligible for the Leadership in Logistics program, you must:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada, (as i.e):

o A Canadian Citizen

o A Permanent resident

o A Conventional refugee with a valid open work permit

o A Refugee claimant with a valid open work permit

o A CUAET [https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2022/03/canada-ukraine-authorization-for-emergency-travel.html] visa holder with a valid open work permit

  • Be able to reliably commute to North York for the duration of the program.

  • Be able to reliably commute to various locations in Brampton for work placement post-program.

Program Duration

This program is a total of 4 weeks. Participants can expect:

  • Practical work experience in a warehouse, logistics and transportation environment

  • Pay of $19.21/hr for the program duration

  • Certifications in Heavy Equipment
