Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role
Reporting to the General Supervisor, Maintenance, you will lead a team of maintenance tradespeople to ensure assets are used effectively and sustainably. You will champion a strong safety culture by ensuring all work is planned and executed in compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary trades teams in the execution of project work, actively supporting and participating in commissioning activities while providing oversight during installation. Contributing to the development and implementation of effective maintenance strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient mill operations.
This is an 18-month temporary position.
In This Role, You Will
Oversee, coach, and develop a team of tradespeople in the maintenance of site project work; Ensure that planned and ad hoc maintenance activities are carried out in an efficient and responsive manner; Assist with other supervisors and departments to achieve common goals, as required; and Play an active role in operational reliability and asset health.
Required
valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson certification or a technical diploma in a related mechanical discipline; 10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent; equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills; work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended
a Saskatchewan supervisory certificate; first aid certificate; and previous working experience using SAP, Sigga and Bentley.

Safety Sensitive Site
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).
The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
