About the Role:

As a Senior Specialist on the Finance Business Systems team, the Training & Digital Adoption Advisor leads the development of Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) across our financial landscape. You’ll drive adoption and evolution for Oracle Fusion, EPM, and Procurement modules, ensuring a seamless digital experience across all our integrated Finance systems.

This role leads training, digital adoption, and in-application guidance development to ensure users can effectively navigate and adopt new systems and processes. The position is responsible for designing and maintaining learning content, job aids, and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) digital guidance, including walkthroughs, contextual help, and in-application learning experiences. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, Release Management, and Change Management teams, the Advisor translates business processes into clear learning materials and intuitive digital guidance embedded directly within the application.

The role operates independently within established frameworks and has a direct impact on user readiness, adoption, and operational effectiveness across Finance platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Adoption & Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain in-application digital guidance using the Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) platform to support enterprise system adoption;
  • Create interactive walkthroughs, tooltips, hotspots, and contextual help aligned with business workflows;
  • Translate business processes into structured digital guidance that helps users complete tasks directly within the application;
  • Apply HTML and CSS to customize and enhance OGL guides and smart tips and user interface elements;
  • Manage and maintain the Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) environment, ensuring content remains accurate and aligned with system updates;
  • Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and Release Management to assess impacts of releases on learning content;
  • Update in-application learning guides following system changes and enhancements;
  • Track usage metrics and user feedback to boost adoption and improve the user experience, while actively contributing to our ongoing KPI measurements;
  • Validate guides for usability, accuracy, and quality before release;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OGL content or configuration issues;
  • Document OGL development standards and reusable guidance components to ensure consistency;
  • Coordinate and manage support tickets with Oracle OGL support as required;
  • Support updates during application releases, enhancements, and process changes;
  • Participate in Oracle OGL training, certification programs, and product update sessions to stay current on platform capabilities,connecting with OGL as necessary for support.

Training Strategy & Delivery:

  • Lead the design and delivery of training programs covering systems, processes, and tools for stakeholders, including end users and internal trainers;
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans aligned with business priorities and implementation milestones;
  • Develop blended learning solutions, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, and supporting materials;
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to support user readiness and adoption;
  • Provide guidance and coaching to internal trainers to improve delivery effectiveness.

Documentation & Knowledge Resources:

  • Develop and maintain clear, concise, bilingual job aids and process documentation across Finance domains;
  • Ensure materials align with approved processes and organizational standards;
  • Maintain version control and manage the central repository for training and learning resources.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes;
  • Validate learning materials and translations for accuracy and clarity;
  • Identify opportunities to improve training processes, tools, and adoption approaches;
  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams to align training activities with operational needs;
  • Support readiness and adoption initiatives related to system implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Significant experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs, preferably within ERP implementations;
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar enterprise applications;
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and browser developer tools experience preferred;
  • Understanding of DOM and web technologies experience is preferred;
  • Professional fluency in both English and French;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in complex environments;
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Attention to detail and quality;
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Strong Assets:

  • Experience with Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) or other Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs);
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, DOM, and browser developer tools;
  • Experience working with Release Management or system deployment teams;
  • Understanding of Finance and accounting processes;
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace;
  • Oracle Guided Learning Developer training or certification.
