Our client is seeking a Director, FP&A, for a six-month contract.

Responsibilities: Lead the month-end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities Lead the reforecasting, variance analysis, and trend analysis Review financial results for completeness, accuracy, and key changes relative to plan or prior periods for all locations Partner with finance team members and operational leaders to gather inputs, ask questions, and follow up on variances Provide oversight and coordination across multiple workstreams within the finance function Contribute to product costing and analysis, including material, labor, and related cost drivers (i.e. labour utilization) Help improve reporting visibility and reduce workload pressure on senior finance leadership

Requirements: Progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or operational finance roles Strong background in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis Experience working with costing, margin analysis, or operational/manufacturing finance is an asset Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate variances, and communicate findings clearly Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight Prior leadership or team management experience is preferred Strong communicator with a polished and professional presence Able to balance hands-on execution with big-picture thinking Quick learner with strong judgment and the ability to ask the right questions Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable stepping into an evolving environment ----- DISCLAIMERS ----- You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
