Position: Image Evaluation Generalist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $20 - $30/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Evaluate images in alignment with detailed project guidelines and quality standards. Detect and document visual inconsistencies, errors, and deviations from established criteria. Draft concise, well-structured written explanations to clarify review decisions. Maintain calibration and consistency by liaising with peers as criteria or project rubrics are updated. Identify, flag, and describe edge cases or novel image patterns outside current guidelines. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project documentation by surfacing ambiguities or gaps.

Requirements

Have strong relevant experience in structured review processes. Exceptional attention to visual detail and an ability to spot subtle issues in images. Clear, concise written English for composing actionable feedback and documentation. Experience with content evaluation, moderation, quality assurance, annotation, or trust & safety projects is valued. Comfort working with review tools or annotation platforms tailored for digital content.
