Exploring the differences between photographic, film, video and audio processes, students will study the characteristics of these media through hands on assignments.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must hold an MFA or BFA in Film Production or equivalent field, with preference given to applicants with an MFA who meet all the essential criteria. Essential criteria include experience in film production, as well as creative and technical knowledge of digital and film cameras, audio recording, and editing software. University teaching experience is considered an asset.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Other Work Hours

FILM 200-003 is currently scheduled on Wednesdays from 1130-1415 – on campus delivery for the Fall semester (September-December 2026).
