POSITION SUMMARY: We are offering a short-term General Labour role to work with an environmentally friendly, sustainable company. This role would be responsible for travelling to sites throughout the region washing and replacing the green bins on customer sites. Washing equipment of truck and trailers. This is a short-term contract role starting immediately. Candidates must have a Class 5 Driver's license. Location: Winnipeg Contract Term: 6 Months Hours of Work: Monday to Friday; 7:00am – 3:00pm, overtime as required Job Responsibilities Operating a wash van within the yard and travelling to customer sites Cleaning and washing grease bins and minor spills Assisting with general yard clean‑up and maintenance Following safety procedures and standard operating procedures Qualifications: Valid Class 5 driver's license required Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to follow instructions Comfortable working independently Compensation: $19.00/hourly Safety shoes and boot program Darling Ingredients is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located.
