Security Operations Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI systems that reason through security incidents like a seasoned analyst. As a Security Operations Analyst, your real-world SOC expertise will directly shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to threats — making enterprise security AI smarter and more effective for everyone.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work as much or as little as fits your life.

What You'll Do

Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigation workflows — and evaluate how well AI systems handle them Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions Review AI-generated detection logic and triage workflows for accuracy and real-world alignment Validate AI outputs against how security analysts actually work in practice Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts

Who You Are

2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows Skilled at distinguishing true positives from false positives and noise Strong written communication skills — you can explain your reasoning clearly Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST Background in cloud security, endpoint detection, or network analysis Prior exposure to AI or data labeling workflows
