Qualifications: Ph.D. in Classics or one of the related disciplines; academic preparation in the area of classic philology/Greco-Roman civilization/Greek history/Roman History (choose one); advanced knowledge of classical Greek and Latin. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching a similar course.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; dealing with student inquires; calculation and submission of grades (including any grading or submission of grades not completed by the end of session: December 31, 2026 for the F session and April 30, 2027 for the S); holding regular office hours; supervising TAs (if any) assigned to the course.
