Term Length: 8 months Term Start: September 8, 2026 Term End: April 16, 2027 The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role. Hybrid Work Model: In office 4 days, 1 day work from home Location: 3 days in the office per week at Loblaw Head Office - 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 1 day per week at East Gwillimbury Distribution Centre - 18574 Woodbine Ave, Sharon, ON, L0G 1V0 Job Description The Loblaw Supply Chain team is the heart of our business and is committed to making customers our number one priority. With the aid of world class systems, we ensure our product – nearly 1billion units of it – makes its way from one of our 3,000 vendors, through one of our 27 distribution centers, to one of our 2,300 locations across Canada, and into the homes of millions of Canadians each year. Key Responsibilities: Work with teams at distribution centers in receiving and automation to understand issues and inefficiencies resulting from vendor packaging and shipping practices Collaborate with Vendors and internal replenishment and procurement teams to find solutions to facilitate maximum efficiency at automated distribution facilities Track vendor progress in identifying and implementing solutions, following up and involving stakeholders as required Respond to vendor inquiries regarding packaging and shipping requirements Support rollout of vendor portal to communicate infraction information to vendors, and collect feedback and resolution information Provide support to Replenishment, Transportation and Category teams in the form of Vendor Compliance summaries, Service Level impact analyses, metrics on efficiency of Compliance Programs and vendor performance as well as guidance on Compliance related issues internally and to the vendors. Maintain accurate Compliance data of vendor and carrier lists to ensure the accuracy of reporting. Assist with the preparation of compliance reporting for vendors and internal teams Qualifications: College or University Degree/Diploma with relevant fields of study in Supply Chain Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Corporate Social Responsibility and/or Compliance or related subject area Strong communication skills are required, as well as attention to detail and creative problem solving Ability to work under pressure in a very fast-paced environment Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Apps an asset Loblaw recognizes Canada's diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
