Application Support Specialist Company Description Join a dynamic public-sector technology environment focused on delivering critical digital services that support healthcare and citizen-facing programs. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern Salesforce-based applications, identity and access management technologies, and cross-functional teams that support mission-critical business operations. Responsibilities Include: Provide Tier 2 application support for Salesforce-based platforms, troubleshooting incidents, resolving technical issues, and ensuring service-level commitments are met. Manage user access, identity administration, and authentication processes, including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, security groups, guest access, and authentication token lifecycle management. Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to support application releases, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing operational activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, implementation plans, and support procedures while driving continuous service improvement. Support incident management, testing activities, end-user training, and reporting to ensure a high-quality user experience. Qualifications: Experience supporting Salesforce-based applications, including user administration, permissions, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Strong background in application support, incident management, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce Service Cloud, etc.), and SLA-driven environments. Experience with identity and access management tools, including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD administration, security groups, and authentication management. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide exceptional customer support in a SaaS environment. Experience with functional testing, regression testing, and supporting software releases is considered an asset.
