Description: This module introduces professionalism in experiential learning, reflection, and self-evaluation paradigms in healthcare.    This module will be presented in 6 sessions of 2 hours each. Students will be introduced to the basics of Professionalism etiquette and its role in shaping leadership and team-based interactions in a healthcare context. In addressing reflection and self-evaluation, the module will probe students’ awareness of self as translational researchers in a global context and explore how their work and approach to a need may be applied in a different setting where the need may be greater (or different).  Estimated course enrollment:  ~ 30 students   Estimated TA support: not applicable   Class schedule:  2-hour seminar-style workshops; occurring Thursdays (Time to be confirmed)    Sessional dates of appointment:  September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026   Salary (0.25FCE):   Sessional Lecturer I - $4,998.74Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term - $5,349.61Sessional Lecturer II - $5,349.6Sessional Lecturer II - Long Term - $5,476.98Sessional Lecturer III - $5,476.98Sessional Lecturer III - Long Term - $5,614.45  Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.   Minimum qualifications:  Masters degree.   Minimum qualifications:  Professional and/or academic experience related to the course material is preferred.   Description of duties:  Preparation and delivery of course content, including lectures and/or seminars; creation of courseware; the development and administration of assignments, tests and examinations; marking and grading of student work and the submission of grades to appropriate University officials, maintenance of reasonable hours of student contact outside of scheduled contact hours.   Application instructions:  Please submit application using the following form: Fall 2025 Sessional Lecturer: LMP2350H Professionalism (0.25FCE)   CAUTION: This ad is “posted only” to the U of T CUPE 3902 Unit 3 job board.
