We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a 9-month contract with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for a highly skilled designer who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment and has experience creating compelling, performance-driven creative for DTC, ecommerce, retail, or consumer brands.

You’ll play a key role in developing high-quality visual assets across paid social, digital campaigns, ecommerce, and brand initiatives. Working closely with our Creative Director, strategists, account managers, designers, and clients, you’ll help transform creative concepts and marketing objectives into engaging designs that capture attention and drive results.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, a sharp eye for typography, composition, and visual storytelling, and the ability to create work that balances brand building with performance marketing goals. Experience bringing designs to life through motion, animation, and digital storytelling is highly valued, as this role will support the creation of dynamic creative across multiple formats.

The Role As a Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll take ownership of creative projects from concept through execution, helping shape the visual direction for a diverse roster of DTC ecommerce brands. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop creative that strengthens brands, improves campaign performance, and delivers standout digital experiences. In addition to owning your own design projects, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director to help elevate the team’s creative output, support day-to-day design workflows, provide feedback and guidance to junior designers, and contribute to building stronger creative processes. This role requires someone who understands modern digital design, consumer behaviour, and the fast-moving nature of ecommerce creative. You should be comfortable developing concepts, presenting creative rationale, collaborating with clients, executing polished designs, and adapting creative based on feedback, performance insights, and platform best practices. You’ll also contribute to improving our creative processes, sharing design expertise with the broader team, and staying ahead of emerging trends in digital design, motion, AI, and advertising.

Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality graphic design assets across paid social, ecommerce, digital campaigns, and brand initiatives. Translate creative briefs, campaign objectives, and strategic insights into compelling visual concepts. Create static and dynamic ad creative for platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging channels. Build strong visual systems through typography, layout, composition, colour, and brand expression. Design campaign assets including social ads, display creative, email graphics, landing page visuals, presentations, and marketing materials. Collaborate with creative strategists, marketers, and account teams to develop concepts designed to capture attention and drive performance. Create motion-enhanced creative including animated assets, transitions, kinetic typography, and visual storytelling elements to bring campaigns to life. Partner with video editors and creative teams to develop cohesive creative across static, video, and motion formats. Maintain brand consistency while adapting creative for different platforms, audiences, and campaign objectives. Support the Creative Director in managing creative workflows, prioritization, team collaboration, and maintaining a high standard of creative output. Provide feedback, mentorship, and creative guidance to junior designers to help elevate team capabilities. Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas, references, and creative approaches. Incorporate feedback efficiently while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Stay current with trends in digital design, ecommerce, social media, AI-powered creative tools, motion design, and advertising.

What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience. Experience working within a DTC ecommerce, retail, consumer brand, or agency environment preferred. Strong portfolio showcasing digital design, paid social creative, branding, and campaign work. Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to take ideas from strategy through final execution. Excellent understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling. Strong understanding of digital design principles and performance creative best practices. Ability to create visually compelling work while considering business goals and conversion objectives. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Experience working in Figma and collaborative design environments. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative, client-facing, and cross-functional teams. Comfortable receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and adapting creative based on evolving priorities. Ability to provide thoughtful creative feedback and support the growth of other designers.

Additional Bonus Qualifications While the core focus of this role is graphic design, candidates with motion design experience are strongly encouraged to apply. You should be comfortable extending static designs into engaging digital experiences through animation, movement, and storytelling. Experience with: After Effects and motion graphics workflows. Animated social ads, kinetic typography, transitions, and branded motion systems. Bringing paid social creative concepts to life through motion and video. Short-form video editing and social-first content creation. Creating dynamic assets optimized for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience creating performance marketing creative for ecommerce brands. Familiarity with UGC, influencer marketing, and social-first content. Experience collaborating with creative strategists on testing and optimizing ad creative. Familiarity with Premiere Pro or other video editing tools. Experience using AI-powered creative and design tools to improve ideation, production workflows, and creative output.
