Qualifications
MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, or health related program or other related fields preferred.
- Understanding of medical terminology preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- One year of directly related administrative experience is required.
- 2 years experience preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Attention to detail, including the ability to keep complete and accurate records of audit activities required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing required.

Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills required.

Ability to develop a work plan to establish deadlines required.

Ability to seek guidance and clarification when needed required.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and quickly adapt to changing project needs is required.

Knowledge of Microsoft office suite is required.

OTHER JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of database management software and statistical software (SPSS) preferred.
- Understanding of medical terminology preferred .
Key responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Sources curriculum materials on the curriculum management system (Entrada) and elsewhere as required.
- Reviews and assesses curriculum materials against established standards, including:
- Educational/pedagogical standards
- Disciplinary standards (e.g., Medical Council of Canada curriculum requirements)
- Equity and Inclusion standards
- Standards set by the Max Rady College of Medicine
- Reviews teaching videos against established standards.
- Prepares written audit reports that provide specific information on whether resources meet standards.
- Provides feedback and suggestions for improvement for consideration by educational leaders to advance educational excellence in the educational program.
- Analyzes completed audits for trends and patterns to help inform faculty development activities for the college and improve curricula.
- Assists with other curriculum audit and evaluation processes, such as curriculum mapping, gap analyses, and needs assessments.
- Prepares and presents audit findings and recommendations to educational leaders and faculty members.
- Participates in meetings with educational leaders to discuss audit outcomes and suggest improvements.
- Collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure audit feedback is understood and implemented effectively.
- Documents and tracks audit progress and outcomes for reporting and continuous improvement purposes
- Assists with other related curriculum audit and evaluation processes as needed.
- May be required to perform related duties not exceeding skills and capabilities as required.
