Key Responsibilities:

The Bilingual New Accounts Administrator will be a valuable addition to the Operations department. You will begin working in either the New Accounts, or Account Transfers team:

The New Accounts team is responsible for opening and reviewing new accounts into Dataphile environment in a timely manner. You will be responsible in supporting a broad range of account lifecycle and client maintenance activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, risk awareness, and the ability to manage both routine and complex account updates across multiple systems ensuring documents are in good order adhering to internal and regulatory industry requirements. Providing clear instructions to our clients regarding any deficiencies to ensure an Effortless Experience.

The Account Transfers team is responsible for end-to-end process of Transferring accounts and assets in to out of our firm. As a member of the transfer team, you will review and initiate transfers, follow-up with institutions on status of manual inbound transfers, ensuring assets are accurately deposited (Settlements), and transferring assets and accounts out both electronically and manually (Transfer-out). You would become familiar with electronic (ATON) and manual (non-ATON) deliveries platforms to complete Transfer requests while ensuring documents are in good order adhering to internal and regulatory industry requirements, while providing clear instructions to our clients regarding any deficiencies to ensure an Effortless Experience

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
-
You have between 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the financial services industry.

Bilingual (verbal and written) in French and English
-
You are familiar with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc).

Excellent MS Excel skills
The following are assets:

Knowledge of and/or experience in the brokerage industry

Completion of, or enrolment in, a financial services industry program (e.g. CSC)
Compensation:
Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent
This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects
your expertise and the value you bring. The hourly rate ranges from $24 to $38, based on experience and qualifications.
