Quality Assurance Analyst Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 9-12 months Pay Rate: $45-48/hour Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite, Mississauga

You will be part of a collaborative technology environment supporting critical pharmacy applications used across complex business and operational workflows.
Your New Role As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of pharmacy-related applications through requirements analysis, test planning, test execution, defect management, and close collaboration with Product and Development teams. This role requires someone who can go beyond traditional testing. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly understand complex workflows, summarise information clearly, communicate technical and business concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, and help drive better decision-making across delivery teams. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA leadership, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, ensure comprehensive test coverage, identify defects, and support the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed 5+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality assurance analysis. Strong experience creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Ability to analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing coverage. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to summarise information clearly and concisely to support understanding, alignment, and decision-making. Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Development teams, and business stakeholders. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and qTest. Experience testing REST and SOAP services. Strong SQL skills for data validation, backend testing, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and communicate findings effectively. Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while managing priorities across multiple workstreams. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience testing pharmacy system applications. Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, or other regulated application environments. Experience supporting complex enterprise applications with multiple integrations and business workflows. Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
