Grader positions in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering for the Summer 2026 semester. These positions are open to McGill University students only.

Course Title and Course Number:

  • ECSE 201 – Co-operative Work Term 1 (20 hours)
  • ECSE 301 – Co-operative Work Term 2 (20 hours)
  • ECSE 401 – Co-operative Work Term 3 (20 hours)
  • ECSE 402 – Co-operative Work Term 4 (20 hours)

Main Responsibilities
The grader will assist with evaluating student submissions, ensuring consistency in grading, and tracking completion of deliverables.
The grader will:

  • Grade internship-related deliverables.
  • Apply grading rubrics consistently across all sections
  • Track missing, late, or incomplete deliverables
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and evaluations

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Familiarity with software engineering internships/co-op environments
  • Experience with GitHub portfolios and software engineering workflows
  • Comfortable working with MyCourses and spreadsheets (Excel)
