Role Description The Agentic AI - Architect role is a remote contract position responsible for designing and guiding AI-driven, agentic system architectures for cloud-based applications. Day-to-day tasks include defining AI and integration architecture patterns, collaborating with engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and overseeing end-to-end solution design across data, services, and user interfaces. The Architect will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical vision and delivery milestones, perform technical reviews, and provide best-practice guidance on security, performance, and reliability. The role also involves evaluating new AI tools and cloud services, preparing architectural documentation, and mentoring developers and integrators on implementing agentic AI capabilities. Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based and AI-enabled systems. Hands-on experience in Software Development, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java) and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and APIs. Proven Integration skills, including designing and implementing APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and connecting heterogeneous systems and data sources. Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions within scope, time, and budget. Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native patterns such as containers, serverless, and IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Understanding of agentic AI concepts, orchestration frameworks, and practical experience with LLM-based solutions or AI automation tools is highly beneficial. Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
