Join IAMGOLD for a 10-month contract to support Project Nova, our company-wide implementation of Oracle systems that is transforming how we work across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other core functions. This role is central to ensuring employees can effectively use and adopt these new systems by delivering clear, accurate, and accessible French translations.

As part of Project Nova’s implementation, the Translator will work across a wide range of materials, including user acceptance testing (UAT) content, training materials, system and platform language, and project communications, helping ensure consistency and clarity at every stage of the rollout.

Working closely with the Project Management Team and partners across the organization, the Translator will manage incoming requests, deliver high-quality English-to-French translations, and coordinate work with external providers as needed. The role combines hands-on translation with quality control and coordination, and requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

In this role, the Translator will translate a broad range of materials from English into French in support of Project Nova, including user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts, scenarios, and validation documents, as well as training materials, user guides, and job aids that support system rollout. The role also involves translating system and platform language such as interface text, field labels, workflows, and notifications, along with a variety of project communications including updates, announcements, FAQs, and change management materials.

Beyond translation, the Translator will review and edit both internal and external content to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency in terminology and tone, and alignment with IAMGOLD standards and style. The role also includes coordinating with external translation providers when additional capacity or specialized expertise is required, while supporting quality control, formatting, and production needs. Maintaining activity logs and contributing to the continuous improvement of translation processes are also key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled professional with a bachelor’s degree in translation (English to French specialization) and at least five years of relevant experience, including technical translation. The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent command of both English and French, with native-level proficiency in French, and strong familiarity with translation tools such as Trados Studio or similar environments, as well as terminology

databases and emerging AI technologies. A solid understanding of terminology across core business functions—including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and corporate operations—is important, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, handle high volumes of work, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience supporting a public company environment, including shareholder communications, is considered an asset.

Salary Range: C$89,000 - C$97,000
