Nice-to-Haves Experience building flow-based data ingestion pipelines Strong experience with Informatica for enterprise data integration and migration initiatives Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions Experience with dbt, Snowpark, Streams, or Dynamic Tables Experience working within cloud-based data platforms Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical initiatives
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data engineering solutions Build and optimize data integration and migration pipelines using Snowflake and Informatica Develop scalable ELT processes and reusable data frameworks Create and maintain data models that support reporting, analytics, and operational use cases Integrate data from multiple source systems into Snowflake environments Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define and implement data solutions Troubleshoot and optimize performance across data pipelines and warehouse environments Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and scalability across all solutions Contribute to best practices, coding standards, and data engineering governance
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a team supporting enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions leveraging Snowflake and Informatica within a complex enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in data integration, data warehousing, and modern ETL/ELT practices. Experience with Snowflake Openflow (Apache NiFi) is highly desirable, though candidates with strong Informatica backgrounds who are comfortable learning and adapting to new integration technologies are encouraged to apply. Experience integrating Workday data is considered a plus.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level data engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges and building scalable, high-performing data platforms that drive business outcomes.
