Twin Rivers Elementary School

0.55 FTE Primary Music Teacher (over 3 days) – Bilingual (French & English) preferred

Temporary: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

Qualifications:

• BC Certification
• Bachelor of Education in Elementary
• Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in Music is preferred
• Previous successful experience teaching music/fine arts is preferred
• Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum, including the learning outcomes and appropriate resources, is essential
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional and assessment strategies is essential
• Demonstrated ability to integrate appropriate technologies into educational programs
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers in similar grades
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
