Faculty/Department Faculty of Social Work Unit Social Work - Student Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary

Working under the direction of Lee-Renee Vandenbroeck, the Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the completion of duties associated with the delivery of SW 415-200 online (Async) course in Spring 2026.

Duties include grading assignments and other duties as needed. Grading should be completed in a timely manner.

Position Requirements

  • Preference given to a U of R graduate student in social work

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with social work practice

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

This is a casual position from May 4 to June 17, 2026.
