Our client, a leading global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide financial leadership during a critical transition at one of its Canadian manufacturing facilities. This is an immediate opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing finance leader who can quickly step into a plant environment, ensure business continuity, and support operations through a planned facility shutdown and year-end close.

What You'll Do Lead month-end close and oversee all plant accounting activities Manage cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysis Partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance and operational decision-making Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reporting Maintain internal controls and corporate reporting compliance Oversee inventory controls, fixed assets, and physical inventory processes Support leadership transition and knowledge transfer from the outgoing Controller Guide financial activities through a planned manufacturing shutdown and year-end reporting

What We're Looking For 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Prior Manufacturing Controller or Plant Controller experience Strong background in: Manufacturing accounting Cost accounting Inventory accounting Standard costing Budgeting & forecasting Financial reporting ERP experience required Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking French (ERP environment is French-based) CPA/CMA/CGA designation is a plus

Location & Travel Manufacturing facility located in Drummondville, Quebec Preference for local candidates Canadian-based candidates outside the area are welcome to apply; travel expenses can be covered Expect regular onsite presence during the engagement
