Job Title: SAP Fioneer Consultant Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Onsite (hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 70-75/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 7th, 2026
SKILLS REQUIRED Mandatory Skills: Configure SAP Fioneer FPSL for banking products, including Loans, Deposits, Money Market Instruments, and Securities, with expertise in event-based accounting. Implement and configure contract types, event processing, posting schemas, accounting determinations, valuation areas, and subledger accounting layers. Support IFRS 9 accounting requirements, including EIR calculations, accruals, amortization, fee handling, and financial instrument classification (AC, FVOCI, FVTPL). Integrate core banking systems and treasury platforms with SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring accurate GL postings, document splitting, and Universal Journal integration. Execute and support Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), along with reconciliation between source systems, FPSL, and SAP General Ledger. Troubleshoot and resolve accounting, posting, and integration issues, supporting parallel runs, go-live activities, and hypercare. Strong experience with SAP Fioneer FPSL, SAP S/4HANA Finance integration, Banking Accounting, Event-Based Accounting, and IFRS 9 is required.
