This Position reports to: Production Supervisor Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: onsite & temporary. This role is contributing to the Emergency Lighting in Dorval. You will be mainly accountable for: Read and interpret technical drawings as well as the silkscreen on a printed circuit board (PCB). Use precision tools and measuring instruments required for assembly activities. Assemble and repair units (e.g., harnesses, wires, cables). Perform minor touch-ups in accordance with current soldering standards. Carry out various tests. Identify any non‑conformities in soldering, component placement, orientation, and polarity. Flexibility to work in other functions as needed. Qualifications for the role Comfortable with repetitive manual work Able to remain standing for long periods Open to rotating between positions and tasks Perform SMT and TH component soldering, an asset.
