Sessional Lecturer, ECUR 322 (ITEP – White Bear FN) The Department of Curriculum Studies and the Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in the College of Education, and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s):

Winter 2027 Session Course Number, Section, and Name: ECUR 322.3 (E20) Methods in Elementary Science Term and Course Dates: Term 2 Open Learning (April 1, 2027 to April 21, 2027) CRN: 32676 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (Live in-person on White Bear First Nations). Course Schedule: Actual days/times; daily Monday to Thursday. Expected Enrollment Limit: 35 Location: White Bear First Nations (approx. 1.5hrs NE of Estevan, SK) Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and to fostering respectful, reciprocal learning environments. They must also possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as indigenization and the decolonization of pedagogy to uplift and support Indigenous students.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
